Charlotte, Helen and I have recently decided to make Friday morning's a time we prayer walk around Chichester's city centre. We meet at the bottom of south street and take half an hour to walk around the deserted streets keeping our eyes and ears open to things we might pray about. Though it's a challenge each time to drag my lazy carcass out of bed I actually always finish it really glad I made the effort. This morning my prayers were summed up by the prayer in this photo. It's the prayer of St. Richard. Helen says this year is some kind of anniversary of him, I think he was one of the founders of our beautiful cathedral or something - actually for a dude whose prayer I love I've just realised I know very little about him! I love that these words are inscribed in the centre of our beautiful wee city... xc

I love when you look up and the sky is moving. As I type this my friend's cheers have erupted from inside the abandoned structure in front of me. The Anodyne performance has ended: three friends with cello, guitar and drums treating us to candle lit tunes inside a Windmill overlooking the coast. I loved watching from the fence I took this photo from. The starlings, clouds and light seem to dance to the haunting melodies...
