The death of a Super Man
I wonder how many blogs will note this today... I was saddened to receive a text from Charlotte this morning telling me Christopher Reeve had died. The iconic Superman and an inspiring individual, it's amazing how many lives he touched. My friend Smiles emailed me and said...
"I can't believe it Superman is dead!!!!... Gutted. Don't quite believe it I was sure he was gonna walk again, he was a real life Superman over coming all his problems and proving doctors wrong. Strong in spirit but physically weak."
She v much echos my feeling... I could talk about the irony of the death in an invincible character, but I don't really want to. To me Christopher Reeve is a Hero for taking all life threw at him with dignity and positivity.
I think he was one of those actors that will be tied to the role that made him a star. That's why I think it made such an impact. I love the Superman films

Absolutely! He's the iconic superman but I think Tom Welling is fast becoming the iconic Clarke Kent! Contraversial yes, but an interesting debate all the same...

Counsel, I respectfully submit that Dean Cain would in fact vie for the title-but he was dapper rather than geeky. But I think that's Christopher reeve was so good at doing both. Can you honestly see Tom Welling becoming big hunky Superman ;)

Erm... Yes! He would look hot! But in an effort to not sound like a horny teenager I'll leave it there ;)

well superman - mr reeve - will always be superman, if you look closely at the comics and the first artists impressions, you can see why, they chose him for the part.
