Today Charlotte and Ruthy are mostly laughing at me wearing everything but my long coat to stay warm in the office. For some reason they're boiling hot, stripped down to t-shirts and I'm freezing cold, wrapped in my wooly jumper, hat and scarf. Probably just my cold having fun with my temperature guage...
This morning was like an intense download of Jesus words. The last few weeks Charlotte and I have fallen behind on our Transit Bible reading. Through the two hour journey to Reading in Charlotte’s faithful Rover, I read aloud from the gospels of Luke, Mark and Matthew. The words of Jesus in an intensive blast…
I am freaking out! I just had my first,"Oh my goodness my name is going to change!" moment. I've been chatting to Brian Heasly about the release of a book I helped him edit called Writing on the Wall. Throughout the years this trend has diminished, lifestyles have become less flexible and tastes have diverged...
The last few days my mind has been preoccupied by what the future might hold. I'm normally an imediate person who looks no more than a few years ahead but with the mixture of getting married and dreaming with Charlotte it's been a lot of fun to think what the future could look like! Country houses full of friends, recording studios and new communities... I may even return to teaching dance soon. If I can get the courage to try again. xc
There's nothing more sorrowful or shocking as a life ended too soon. Nothing that makes you examine your own mortality or inspire a deeper apreciation for the time we're given and the people we share it with. Friday brought some very sad news. News that has made me realise I have a lot to be grateful for...
