Two weeks to Potter 7
I have been very restrained and not blabbed about my excitement about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows but as today is 14 days til the release, the dam is broken, I'm all about Potter baby! Here are my predictions, you probably don't want to read it if you're still catchig up on the story, it will include plot spoilers for the story so far. Potter fans please read, I want to hear your thoughts...
Prediction 1
We will find out what happened in the 24hours between the Potter's death and Harry's injury and Dumbledore's delivery of Harry to the Dursleys. My prediction is Harry will return to Godrick's Hollow and with a surviving time turner will return to the night of his parents death and have to watch without intervening so the future wasn't changed (ala Back to the Future) and then he'll meet with Dumbledore in the missing 24hours.
Prediction 2
Harry's scar is a horcrux. If he is not a horcrux then he's something very closely connected which is how he has enjoyed so many of Voldemort's powers and insight into his mind. This does raise the ineresting point that Harry will have to kill him self, the ultimate sacrifice to completely destroy Voldemort.
Prediction 3
Wormtail will sacrifice himself to save Harry to repay his life debt.
Prediction 4
Snape is grey, both good and bad. He loved Harry's mother Lilliy but hated his father James. He isn't faithful to Voldemort or Dumbledore as he wants power for himself, but out of love for Lilly he will protect Harry, he may even be the one to murder Voldemort as Rowling has made murder the most horrendous thing anyone can do so does she really want her 17 year old hero to take a life?
Prediction 5
Harry will go beyond the viel in the ministry of magic and will see Sirious.
Prediction 6
Harry and Ginny will get married and have lots of babies, as will Ron and Hermione.
Only the book can prove me wrong. What are your theories?

Interesting on Godric's hollow.. like it. Think you're right, thats a loose end that has to be tied up..
I have Wormtail in a mirror image, giving away Voldemort's whereabouts.. For me its Snape who will die to save Harry, probably in the first of two direct confrontations with Voldemort that we see.
I'm rereading all the others at the mo, and I can't see how Harry is NOT a horcrux.. I think she may kills both Harry and Voldemort. Or (see BBC website today), Harry's scar disappears when Voldemort is killed...
I think I have Neville down to die.. but a Ron and Hermione love thing has to be!!

I am so looking forward to this book! So much fact, that when I think about it I start giggling like a school girl... All the theories that are spinning around... Oh! I can't wait! My only problem is that I know I am going to feel empty after I finnish it. The books are finnished... No more new things from Harry Potter... My life will be in ruin for quite a while before I can start to feel happy again... I almost don't want to read it because I know how I will feel...
Anyway! I'm listening to the audiobooks for the third time now and recon I will be finnished with them just in time for the last book.

Lyndall and I wonder if Harry's scar is somehow the horcrux? So (somehow, and we don't get how), that could be destroyed without actually killing Harry?
We agree that Snape will probably play a more key role in book 7, and maybe be the one to kill Voldemort.
We can't wait for it to come out!
