I love Christmas...
...it's a time of year that makes me very happy. I've managed to get all but the last few presents for family and friends and many of them are wrapped in sparkly boots wrapping paper beneath our rather disheveled looking tree. I fear it's the last year for Steve's plastic wonder. Mr Bin man will be enjoying it's lack-luster festive cheer from January...
I picture the year like labyrinthine stairs in my mind so right now we are at the bottom of one year about to step onto the top of another. I'm always amazed how the passing of one and the birth of another fit together so seamlessly.
I'm really looking forward to a break, a chance to see family and read a few good books. We have this week first with the last of our Christmas shopping, our gig tomorrow night, a 24-7 Christmas meal and a carol service for local workers. So as I embark on a new week and a new set of adventures I wish you a peaceful and joyful, run up to Christmas... xc
Same to you. Peace

We are so keeping the tree. Our neighbour asked if it was real from less than 10 foot away! He works with wood (and by extrapolation trees) and he thought it was real. You'll be wanting to ban my traditional christmas fox hunt next...

Darling... as much as I love you, you are wrong. Our neighbour was being polite! The tree can't stand up unless it's resting against the window sill! It's going! xc
