Story teller

Optimus_keyboard_preview1Over the next month the lovely Jonah Bailey is off on his travels and I am pulling together the content for the 24-7 International Website. I'm blogging about this coming month's task because I'd love all the 24-7ers among you to help me...

If you're a blogger or writer and you enjoy writing about prayer or anything 24-7 related then I'd love to hear from you. If you've been involved in a prayer room, boiler room or mission then this could be the opportunity to share your story! Just drop me a line and your article may be read by the 100,000 or so people that read the international 24-7 site.

I'm particularly partial to a good story about how amazing God is and what He's been up to around the world so if you fancy yourself a budding journo and have a story to tell then get in touch. Feel free to send me blog links or to nominate friends - we are a humble community after all and there are many excellent writers among us who don't know their own story telling talent :)

Long time 'Amazed and Confused' readers may be hiding a grin at the news that I'm acting editor and chief but never fear Steve is here! I haven't asked my gorgeous husband yet but he loves me and 24-7 so he'll save me from my terrible spelling and unfortunate "feeling a little idol" moments. The standard of the 24-7 site will remain high as long as I can keep Master Sven in Lemon Drizzle Cake and Apple Crumble.

Oh, so humble you are, Carla. You are an excellent writer, amazingly articulate and have that wonderful gift of being able to challenge people's minds while making them laugh! I'm sure Steve will make a great contribution, but don't ever sell yourself (or your gifts) short!

Please pray for Carol and I that the Lord will make a way for us to come to the 2008 Feast (maybe on the way to Lithuania). We would love to spend time with you, and finally get to meet Steve. Maybe one day we'll even get a chance to use your wonderful potty! ;-) Although, we Yanks are not made of such stern stuff as you Brits. You faced Hitler alone in your "Finest Hour" and it seems are able to sit on cold porcelain and laugh at the discomfort. What BraveHearts!!!
;-D
Big Transatlantic hugs,

Let me give it some thought and see what I come up with. This sounds fun.

I love that you are doing this and I am axious to read all that the Lord Jesus Christ will do. I have been so inspired by the 24-7 movement and have begun crying out "Lord, teach ME to pray" and I wait in eager anticipation. Don't stop what you are doing.

that's incredible - I didn't know you had written this piece until today and just two days ago i encouraged a friend here in australia - who has a masters in creative writing to contact you about doing some stuff for 24-7 prayer- ha ha

"Feeling a little idol"??!!

The mind boggles - I guess Steve wasn't checking this post ;-)

Your writing still rocks though!

That was a quote from a previous article where I made the above spelling mistake and sent the Harding Brothers in fits of hysterics for approximately two years. I have never lived it down. xc
