I have a week off :) I can't wait to rest, get rid of my cold & get stuck in to the house!
This Saturday just gone Carla & I had the privilege to be asked to do a Prayer room and a labyrinth at Chichester cathedral. It is a beautiful place that reminds you of years and years of worship, in the way it was crafted but also how awesome worship sounds in there as it bounces around the walls.
We were fairly certain that our efforts of a prayer room and labyrinth would pail in contrast to the slick professionalism of the cathedral and all the other churches & Organisations involved in this youth event.
However once we were on sight, had a really good pray everything fell in to place and God pilled it out the bag for us ☺Download MOV00395.3GP
We had loads of amazing chats, the creativity of the children blow us away. It really was an honour to be there.
Last night matt & I stayed in our new house :) we got the keys on Friday morning and started the epic task of cleaning... This house is like no other I've ever seen! From what we have found out about the previous owners, they had pet rats they let run free around the house, cats they wouldn't let out and a dog. Matt recons they had a bird as well as there are feathers everywhere and bird food stuck to the skirting boards. THIS HOUSE SMELLS!

Tomorrow matt & I get our own house ☺
I’m so excited! there's so much I’m looking forward to:
• Inviting people over for a cuppa.
• Going to Tesco’s & buying food we wasn’t to eat!
• Walking to work
• Having breakfast together
• Wearing pants and a jumper, looking like a scruff bag while sanding / painting & generally doing up the house.
• If I put something down, knowing it will be there when I get home.
• Going to the fried and finding someone elce hasn’t eaten all the food.
On Tuesday I begged for prayer as it looked like Matt & I were going to loose our house & deposit!!! [Harsh I know!]
However at 2.40 we received a call from the solicitors confirming that my id checks had gone through fine and that we are still go go go on the house ☺
Thank you to all of you who through a prayer up for us, we are SO thankful as it was a pretty worrying & upsetting couple of days xxxx
PRAYER NEEDED: as many know Matt & I got the house we were after and on Friday we get the keys. The official exchange.
However a MAJOR PROBLEM has come up and we are powerless to do anything about it!
They need official documents proving that Charlotte New Lives at Northfilds! I have given them every thing we have but as my name is now Terris, that is what is written on everything important! They want utility bills… Its not my house so don’t have any!
We need your prayers!...
I love my job; I am committed to 24-7prayer because…
I love God & talking to him, I love the way 24-7prayer involves people, drawing them in to a sustainable relationship with God & involving them in a community that genially cares about them.
I admire the passion, fun & rawness of this community of people.
I love the simplicity of 24-7... pointing people to Jesus, across denominations & saying lets pray.
24-7prayer starts with: Prayer turns in to passion giving faith & motivation for mission needing Prayer.
I long to see people reach there full potential…. being all they can be.
Carla has written a beautiful article on her Blog about 24-7 and what we do, I would love you my friends to know what i do as a job and why. Click the link below.
