About three or four weeks ago I wrote about a little experiment I was conducting on myself. Concerned by the superficial nature of Trinny and Susanna (hehe - can you believe that was a revelation) I decided that I wanted to make a stand. I don't want my self-worth to be so defined by what I look like.
So I took the radical step of not wearing make-up (apart from parties and formal doos; what you expect me to walk into parliament looking like a minger!) because I was concerned by the fact that I didn't really like the way I looked.
Had some really amusing moments when I began. Comments like, "Heavy night last night?", "Are you ok?" and "Are you feeling sick?" followed me around. Twas quite amusing. Christian however (24-7s wonderful designer) let out a cheer as he believes women look 10 times better o natural! (We'll let him stay!)
Well... it worked! I like my face now! Hurrah! I don't need to add foundation, concealer, blusher, lip gloss and mascara to think I look presentable enough to face the world. I honestly think I look ok without it!!!
I am master of makeup not other way around, mwaha ha ha haaaa!
