What a lovely weekend! Matthew, Adam (the Birthday Boy) and I whipped around London perusing the Science Museum, trying to sneak into the National Gallery, climbing in Trafalgar Square, stuffing our chops in China town, exercising our wallets in Oxford Street and walking in circles trying to find Covent Garden (I swear it disappeared for the weekend!)...
We have very sore shoulders and blistered feet from very heavy bags and a few rather cool photos as we amused ourselves whilst Lisa was at work. So after a lot of food, presents and sightseeing my little brother has turned 16... very odd.
I love him very much - Adam thanks for coming to London and celebrating with your sisters. It was lovely to hang out with you for two whole days and not an episode of Star Trek in sight! Take a look at the fabulous pics in the photo album to your right and enjoy our weekend. Highlights include...
***Falling asleep in the Imax cinema
***Up-lit tables at the blue cafe
***Dance mats at the science museum
***£14 for three DVDs at HMV! Siblings on the inside, very useful
***The Life Aquatic! I loved it but more about that later...
***A cooked breakfast on Birthday morning
***Realising that my Brother isn't a child anymore
***Buying sandals in winter because my feet were sore in heels
***Buying my first pair of leg warmers because my feet were cold in sandals
***Singing 'Lady in Red' at the top of our voices walking down the street
***Jet-lagged Carla's brief appearance
***Realising how close China Town, Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square and Westminster are to each other (like really close) and my embarrassment that I would usually just get a tube
***Meeting the rest of the Trundle clan for Mexican!
***Dad grabbing my mobile and asking Steve if he's been sticking his tongue down his daughter's throat...
***Steve nervously trying to work out if this was a wind-up (hehe)
***The lovely pics I got of my gorgeous bro
Twas a good weekend, just wish I could sleep for the next two days xc
