Thought I'd give you a heads up on my most anticipated films for the coming few months. I drueled over Empire's Summer preview last night and I've restrained myself from indulging in film forays for quite long enough...
First up (though in no particular order) is...
***Clerks II (Click the film names for trailers), fabulous cameos, great dialogue and surprisingly lovable characters from the Genius that brought us Clerks, Dogma and Jersey Girl, errrr...
***The Da Vinci Code, Dan Browns most sophisticated offering. Paul Bettany's albino, phsycotic monk is the most attractive thing about the trailer!
***Mission Impossible III, I can't bear the Cruiser but you can't deny the appeal of JJ Abrams first celuloid foray. You can feel the intensity and drama that propelled Lost to such great heights ooze from every frame, and Phillip Seymour Hoffman is most certainly the man.
***<A Scanner Darkly, Richard Linklakers slick and intelligent film, though slightly delayed by post-production is still my most eagerly anticipated!
***The Simpsons: The Movie, Yes! It has finally arrived!
***X-Men: The Last Stand, Pheonix, The beast, Gandalf on great form, the only thing lacking is the now tiresome absence of Gambit!
N.B. Superman Returns is purposely missing from this list in protest of the slapdash, over-cocky, irritating way Bryan Singer has appraoched the film. Mess with the Sup costume has he!!!
