I’ve been reading the Bible in nine months with Transit and it’s opened up a whole new way of not only reading and understanding but how I view the Father, Son and Spirit throughout the history of mankind.
One simple verse in John, a verse I’ve probably read dozens of times, was given such a weighty punch by the context of the previous seven months reading. In that solitary moment it felt like the history of Israel climaxed to that statement just so I could deeper understand who Jesus was. As I rock back against my pillows, the breath momentarily whisked from my lunges I knew that I could never doubt him. xc
