The last week has been full of mini milestones in the lives of my friends and community. From the Wedding of Tristan and Hannah to the immanent birth of Baby Laegal, life is skipping along at a beautiful pace. Both events sum up my thoughts of the three days of meetings I've just had, exploring the restructuring of the international 24-7 movement without choking the life, or wildness from what's happening around the world...
In many ways as we approach our 7th birthday we're marrying into the mission we've been given. Gone are the days when we thought we'd stop any moment now, arrived are the days when strategy and stamina are required. The last three days have been littered with copious amounts of caffeine, scribbled drawings on Steve's living room wall and moments of joy and frustration as we put the skeleton in place for the flesh to live fully.
In some ways you could describe this new stage of commitment as a shotgun wedding. With the heavy sense of knowing this is God's deal, I feel like the movement is pregnant with what God's about to do. Once everything's in place I can't wait to see what He'll give birth to.
My brain is dribbling out my ears but the last few days were surprisingly invigorating and I think we've come up with something that will work. xc
