Greetings one and all, it is time to break the silence. I am sitting up in my new bed, in my new jammies, waiting for my new husband to finish packing up and come to bed. Being married is so different to what I'd imagined. It's better. The last three weeks have been the best of my life...
In all honesty the best bit is living with Steve. It's like having a sleep over with my best mate every night of the week. We've laughed a lot, talked a lot, sorted through two lives worth of stuff and thrown our first dinner party, a proxy Christmas Eve roast for ten!
I'm not sure where the saying, "Everythings changes, everything stays the same" comes from, but I think I understand it now. On one hand, I'm still me, we are still we but on the other everything is totally different, I'm thinking in plural. No longer a singular being bumping into others, I've become a we,
I love it...
There's so much to write about: the Wedding, the Honeymoon, things we've enjoyed since we've been back (long debates while I wash and he dries, sleepy morning smiles, the lepord ski throw that has made it onto our previously tastful bedspread) so I'll probably spread it over the next week.
I've enjoyed my three week sabatical from blogging but as the photos are now being compiled watch out for new photo albums and many many thanks to all the well wishers who left comments and sent emails. Much love to you all... xc
