I spent 7 and a half hours on trains yesterday travelling too and from London. Thanks to a train breaking down in a tunnel I was an hour and half late for a meeting to discuss an exciting new partnership for 24-7 this year. Thank fully they were lovely gracious Christians and were very nice about my lack of control over Southern Rail...
I can't say who or how we're partnering but I can say that I'm pretty excited as this seems to be a God connection. Everything that came out of their mouths was full of life and potential and resonated so much with 24-7's values.
I'm also loving a bit of train time to dive further into Richard Foster's "Prayer: finding the hearts true home". It really breathes life into you and makes you want to talk to God more, there's a real richness and depth to all he explores. I think I might read Mother Teresa's autobiography next :) xc
