I am elated, I am skipping around the house singing Jackson 5 tunes and shaking my behind, a sure sign that something has gone well :D I just finished the first Skype meeting of the new International Prayer Team I'm forming for 24-7, and it went stonkingly well...
In many ways this isn't surprising as the lovely ladies I was meeting with are fantastic, wise women with a lot to give on the subject of prayer. I have to confess though I was a little nervous as this is the first team I've ever headed up that wasn't project or event orientated and temporary. Wasn't sure I was up to the task but with some excellent team members and valuable advice from Mr Greig himself it was actually and enjoyable Skype meeting!
The technology was with is for once! We lost no-one, everyone was heard and as Charlotte and I gathered at my dining room table, Lyndall relaxed in her new community house in the centre of Thun in Switzerland whilst Lyndall reclined in HER new community house in Canterbury.
It was amazing to be able to talk about the challenges and opportunities of prayer in 24-7 with other people. Up until now I've mostly spoken to myself. I loved their ideas and perspectives, we are truly enriched being many working as one... xc
