It's Christmas day! I love it. Steve and I drove back to Chichester in the very wee hours of the morning last night and woke in our own home with big grins on our face for Christmas Day. We've had a wonderful weekend seeing family members old and new...
Saturday Steve and I went to meet our wonderful new Nephew Mr Judah Alleway. He is absolutely gorgeous and the whole family is doing very well. It was great to meet him, I'm really excited about the little man he'll grow to be.
We spent the weekend with my family eating amazing food (thank you Mum!), carols, chilling out and laughing with our loved ones. I've so missed hanging out with my Mum, Dad, Sister and Brother. Grendon is so beautifully peaceful, it was exactly what we needed.
Now we're home for our first Christmas on our own, we've had a lie in, our presents have been opened, and we're anticipating our mammoth Christmas lunch. At four we're meeting Anthony and Ruth and Charlotte and Matt for a Christmas walk in the cold before retiring to someone's home for mulled wine and minced pies.
So merry Christmas everyone. I hope you're celebrations of Christ's birth are peaceful, profound and full of loves ones... xc
