Amazed & Confused

Greetings from Brno

So we're a day into the 24-7 Euro Gathering in the Czech Republic and it's going great. There is an excitingly diverse mix of people, old friends and new. We came with a word from England that this was the right place, at the right time gathering the right people. We still just story telling and getting our bearings but I'm excited about what God might say to us about the continent of Europe. The 24-7 Euro Gathering

I'm in the car with the lovely Helen Monkton on my way to the Czech Republic for the 24-7 Euro gathering. Bit sad to be leaving Steve so soon after he's returned home but quite excited about all the friends new and old I'm going to hang out with. Wonder what God's gonna say as we pray and chat about our great continent? xc

I Love Grass

It's been many years in the making but finally House of Sven has a garden. Our concrete jungle has been transformed into a simple English garden complete with rose bush, herb garden and little ivy covered reading corner. It was simply bliss sitting out there this morning, journalling in the morning sun... xc

Bring me home Maple Syrup!

My handsome husband is off to Canada today to play with the lovely Tim Hughes at some Christian get together or other. I know he's looking forward to it as the band has a few of his good mates in it, Tim's nice to work with and Canada is in the top two nations Steve really wants to visit. He's only there for five days (sadly) so this trip will be a brief taster, a prequel to the day we can together go and explore the nation with the most lakes and the longest coastline in the world. I always feel sad when he's away but this time I have two lovely housemates to keep our home for getting too quiet in his absence... xc

OK I have Blogger Block. I've wracked up so many things I want to write about and I'm so sick of typing after a pressured day of trying to crunch through my to-do that it's now become this insurmountable challenge... Must break through... must... break....... through....
